Ash Dieback

Our Services >> Ash Dieback

Ash Dieback (Hymenoscyphus Fraxineus) is a fungal pathogen that has spread its way across Europe to Great Britain to devastate our ash trees and change the landscape of our countryside forever. This leaves us with hundreds and thousands of Ash trees across the country, that are not only dangerous to the people moving around them in day to day life, but are also extremely dangerous to the contractors carrying out works to these trees.

MTL Group Ltd is one of the leading contractors in the country developing the necessary skills and equipment to allow us to carry out works to trees with Ash dieback as safely as possible, given their level of decline and also their position in the landscape.

Our vast experience in being able to asses the extent of decline in a tree suffering from Ash dieback and also working with these trees from woodland to urban environments has allowed us to make decisions on how best to confront the problem.

In the past 8 years we have invested hundreds of thousands of pounds in machinery and training, to allow us to be productive but also keep our staff as safe as possible while carrying out these dangerous tasks.
